Wells: New & Replacement

Well at Site B-5 in Bishop

LADWP has proposed drilling a new well in southwest Bishop.  Under the Long-Term Water Agreement, LADWP is permitted to construct up to 15 new wells in the Owens Valley.  A letter was sent to residents in the vicinity of the proposed new well to describe the well and the process LADWP and Inyo County must go through to approve it.  The next step is for the Inyo County Water Commission to discuss the well.  More information will be posted to this page as it becomes available.
